Stock control built in Beirut

Inventory Management Software in Lebanon

MAPOS keeps one stock across your shops, branches and warehouses. Every purchase, transfer and adjustment can wait for a second person to approve it before stock changes.

What good stock control looks like in Lebanon

Most stock problems in Lebanese shops and warehouses are not about the screen. Goods move between branches and nobody records it. A count gets "fixed" with an adjustment. Imported items run out because the container came late. Cash sits in dollars on shelves, in items that stopped selling months ago.

MAPOS Inventory is built around those problems. Each branch and warehouse has its own quantity. Stock moves by transfer, not by word of mouth. Purchases, transfers and adjustments can need approval. Reports show what is not selling and what to buy next.

The same items and stock are used by the MAPOS POS, the online store, van sales, orders, manufacturing and accounting. A sale, a write-off or a transfer is entered once, and every part of the system sees it.

Inventory software in Lebanon: common questions

Can I manage several branches and warehouses in one system?

Yes. Each branch and warehouse has its own stock in MAPOS, and you see all of them in one place. You can check stock as of any date for any location. The POS and the online store sell from the same live stock.

How do stock transfers and approvals work?

Stock moves from one location to another by transfer, down to pack level. You can turn on maker-checker approval: one person prepares the transfer, purchase or adjustment, and a second person approves it before stock changes. Activity logs show who did what. Rejected documents are worth reading: they show where your process breaks.

Does it handle barcodes, sizes and colours?

Yes. Each product can have size and colour variants with their own barcodes. You can design and print your own labels. Supermarkets can read scale barcodes for weighed items at the till. Each variant is its own stock item, so the till deducts the exact size and colour sold from the right branch.

Can I cost stock in USD and LBP?

Yes. Purchases can be entered in USD or LBP. Freight and customs can be added to the item cost as landed cost. Exchange gains and losses post automatically in the accounting, and purchase price history shows what you paid each supplier over time. Leaving freight and customs out makes margins look better than they are.

How do stock counts work?

You run stock counts by branch or warehouse. A difference can be corrected with an adjustment, and that adjustment can require approval. Many shops count a small group of items every week instead of one big count a year. A difference that keeps coming back on the same item usually points to a process problem, such as a sale scanned under the wrong variant.

We use Excel today. Can we switch?

Yes. We import your items, customers, suppliers and balances from Excel or your old software. You then count your stock before go-live to set opening quantities. If old tags carry no barcode per size and colour, print new labels as you count. MAPOS is quoted per business after a short demo on WhatsApp.
